The SEL is the value pick and the only trim that offers an 8-passenger seat configuration via the second-row bench. The standard layout is 7-passenger captain’s chairs. Our most-asked-about trim at the 81st Avenue showroom. Limited adds the equipment that turns the Palisade Hybrid from a well-equipped family hauler into a borderline luxury SUV without the luxury sticker.

What’s included: Everything in SEL Premium plus 20-inch wheels, leather-trimmed seats, heated front, second, AND third-row seats, Bose 14-speaker premium audio, dual-panel sunroof, power-folding third row, and factory Class III tow hitch installed from the factory.

Best fit: Families who tow a boat or camper (the factory hitch is included), audio-conscious commuters who put on 30,000-plus miles a year, and anyone who wants the dual-panel sunroof for Cedar Lake summer drives or the Indiana Dunes lakeshore.

Calligraphy: $56,780 starting MSRP

The Palisade Hybrid flagship. Calligraphy starts $4,790 above Limited and adds features that don’t have direct equivalents at this price point in the segment. If you spend serious time in your vehicle, the Calligraphy upgrades earn their keep on daily quality of life.

For most Crown Point or Schererville commuters with plowed roads year-round, FWD plus quality winter tires is honestly fine. For Valparaiso, Portage, or Chesterton residents who deal with lake-influenced weather, HTRAC AWD is the safer recommendation. The 5-MPG difference is meaningful but not a deal-breaker.
